Somebody stop this guy...NOW!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Steve Martin at one time make some decent movies? 'Leap of Faith', 'Roxanne' and 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles' come to mind, but what's with his latest abomination? Have you seen the trailer for the remake of 'The Pink Panther'? If not, then count yourself lucky. It is embarassingly bad, and that's being kind. I think the rot set in in the 90's when he did an updated version of 'Sergeant Bilko'. He's no Phil Silvers that's for sure, and he's definitely not Peter Sellers. Either he's so hard up for ideas or he has some really bad advisers. Someone should tell him now. This is a disgrace to the memory of the one and only worthy Inspector Clouseau. The cartoon was better than this.
